Our goal is to persuade and motivate residents to prefer reusable products and services. We want to revive the culture of repairing and sharing in Gdańsk and increase interest in acquiring and using second-hand items. We educate people on the rational use of natural resources, thereby minimizing waste production. As a priority, we focus on promoting solutions aligned with the Circular Economy (GOZ). That’s why we encourage residents to regularly use “circular” initiatives that we are systematically implementing, such as Gdańsk’s Sorterownie, maps of local craftsmen, and the expanding network of red containers for electronic waste.
Repair your shoes
Remember to take proper care of your shoes from the very beginning:
Never polish dirty shoes—always clean them thoroughly first. Avoid drying wet shoes near radiators or other heat sources. Use soft cloths and a small amount of water for cleaning to prevent soaking. Apply products designed specifically for the type of footwear you own. Take care of the inside of your shoes. Lace your shoes properly to prevent deformation.
Repair your clothes
A torn sweater, a missing button, or a hole in your shirt?
That’s no reason to give up on your favorite clothes. Repairing and altering them is a great way to keep your wardrobe favourites or create a new, unique style. Instead of throwing worn-out clothing away, you can give it a second life.
Repair your leather accessories
Has the zipper on your favorite handbag broken?
Or maybe it has an unexplained stain, scratch, or even a tear? The list of possible damages to leather and faux leather accessories is long, but every issue can be resolved by a specialist—depending on the severity of the damage and the range of services offered. Some professionals even provide ozonation, which removes unpleasant odors, bacteria, and mold spores.
Repair your clocks and watches
You should visit a watchmaker’s workshop not only when your watch stops working but also before that happens. Regular maintenance is essential, as professionals in this field specialize not just in repairs but also in the preservation and upkeep of timepieces.
