Accessibility Declaration
The Gdańsk City Hall is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of April 4, 2019, on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. This accessibility statement applies to the website Clean City Gdańsk.
- Website publication date: July 1, 2013
- Date of last significant update: February 1, 2020
Compliance Status with the Act
The website is partially compliant with the Act on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
Inaccessible Content
Some content may not fully comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, particularly in the following areas:
- Perceivability – Some time-based media are not fully accessible, there is a partial lack of text alternatives, and some features aiding content perception are missing.
- Functionality – Not all pages support full keyboard navigation or provide complete accessibility for data input methods.
- Predictability – Navigation and identification are not entirely consistent across the website.
Additionally, some PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents are not properly readable by screen readers used by visually impaired individuals.
Exemptions
- Videos and multimedia published before the Act came into force are exempt, as making them fully accessible would impose an excessive burden on the public entity. Maps are exempt from accessibility requirements.
